Florence DuPont Employees' Federal Credit Union was organized by the employees of the Florence DuPont plant and chartered on May 3, 1976. Membership at that time was limited to Florence plant employees, retirees from the Florence plant, their parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren. In 1993 the field of membership was expanded to include the spouse of any member and in 2003 was expanded to include siblings of any member. As of January 2014 we merged with Sixth Postal Credit Union and now offer membership to any Postal worker and their family members within the Sixth District of the State as chartered in 1963.
Becoming a member of the Florence DuPont Employees' Federal Credit Union is quick and easy. To qualify for membership you must:
- Be a former employee or retiree of the Florence DuPont plant or an employee or retiree of Florence Mack, or an employee or retiree with the Postal service or any family member related to employees or retirees.
- Complete the membership application.

Our membership policy is "once a member, always a member." If you should terminate your employment with your current employer, you may still remain a member of the credit union. You must however, keep $25.00 in your regular savings account and keep it active.
